To begin the process of admissions to Our Lady of Fatima School, parents must complete an application and schedule an assessment appointment for their child. All students entering Kindergarten, and any students transferring into grades one through eight are assessed by their perspective teachers. These assessments include evaluation of a variety of academic content and skills needed for school success. The assessment results are communicated to parents and the principal and grade placement is determined. Transfer students wishing to be admitted in grades six and above must also complete an interview with the principal.
Upon the completion of the assessment process, families continuing with the admissions process will be given a registration packet consisting of tuition contract, parent club contract, various forms, and instructions for providing required documentation such as birth certificate, baptismal certificate, school entry physical, and immunization records.
At the time of registration, parents will receive information about uniforms, school supplies, and a copy of the school community handbook that contains the school calendar, schedules, and other pertinent information.
Registration fees and tuition rates are set annually by the School Advisory Board. While every effort is made to keep tuition low, families should expect a modest increase in tuition annually.
Any Our Lady of Fatima family with students in K-8th is eligible for financial assistance from Our Lady of Fatima School. Families seeking tuition assistance may request an application from the school office beginning in February. Applications must be filed directly with FACTS prior to the deadline date of April 15. Families applying for tuition assistance will be considered for awards from the diocese of Fresno tuition assistance fund and from the Our Lady of Fatima tuition assistance fund. Tuition assistance awards are based upon demonstrated need, and are awarded on an annual basis.
Our Lady of Fatima Preschool admits students age 4 to our pre-kindergarten program. Full day and half day schedules are available for five, three, or two days per week.
